The action continues on Saturday with the Women’s Singles final and Men’s Doubles final. The Women’s Singles competition has been closed all tournament, with four players in a position to make it. French Open Men’s Final, 2018
The French Open 2018 Men’s Final features Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem in what is expected to be a close match. It will be an opportunity for Nadal to regain his No. 1 world ranking, which he would need over seven points. The two players have met five times before with Nadal winning four of those matches. But don’t underestimate Thiem as he beat Nadal in the quarterfinals at Wimbledon last year 7m. He also won their most recent meeting in Rome earlier this year. In addition, Thiem has been playing well on clay courts lately with six titles out of his last nine tournaments on clay. He is undefeated on clay this season with only one loss coming against Novak Djokovic back in March. So it could go either way but we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out on Sunday!
